The Director of Public Prosecutions Kerri Judd QC and Chief Crown Prosecutor Brendan Kissane QC have welcomed the appointment of Elizabeth Ruddle S.C. as a Senior Crown Prosecutor.
Ms Judd said she was delighted to have someone as talented as Ms Ruddle in Crown Prosecutors’ Chambers and complimented Ms Ruddle on her experience, learning, advocacy and leadership skills.
Mr Kissane said Ms Ruddle had regularly appeared on behalf of the Director.
“Ms Ruddle’s extensive experience at both trial and appellate levels will be a great benefit to Crown Prosecutors’ Chambers. Ms Ruddle’s experience in civil cases is also welcome and will assist in filling a gap in this area. I congratulate her on her appointment.” he said.
Ms Ruddle completed her law degree at Deakin University and began her legal career as an articled clerk at Holding Redlich where she went on to practice as a solicitor.
Ms Ruddle joined the Victorian Bar in 2005, where she gained experience in commercial, regulatory and criminal law practice.
